My First Stand-Up Comedy Debut
Stepping onto the stage for my first-ever stand-up comedy performance was one of the scariest—and most thrilling—things I’ve done in a long time. For weeks, my inner critic told me to cancel, my body tried to resist, and fear nearly won. But courage whispered louder.
This adventure didn’t happen in isolation. It grew from the work I’ve been doing through The Artist’s Way, my journey as a life coach, and the support of the amazing Movers & Shakers community—especially during the transformational Decoded Workshop, which sparked the inspiration to sign up for a stand-up comedy boot camp.
Comedy, like life, is about taking risks, trusting yourself, and finding connection. Standing on that stage reminded me how alive we feel when we step outside our comfort zone and into possibility.
